Getting Started
What is HubGaff?
We are a hybrid professional and social network. You can connect with friends on the Feed, find local tradespeople in the Directory, or manage your properties and pets using our specialized Hubs.
How do I use the Feed?
Use the "Explore" page to see public posts. You can like, comment, or share media. Mention users by typing @username to notify them.
My Profile
How do I edit my profile?
Click the Settings icon in the sidebar or your profile header. Here you can change your avatar, cover photo, bio, and location.
Customizing my Experience
In Settings, you can also toggle Dark/Light mode and customize your Private Message background colors.
Professional Hubs
How do I join as a Tradesperson or Landlord?
Go to Settings > Professional Roles. You can apply to become a verified Landlord or Tradesperson. Our admins will review your application and documents (like insurance or licenses) before activating your Hub.
The ForeverHome Breeder Hub
Breeders can register to manage litters and waiting lists. This requires a valid local authority breeding license for verification.
Privacy & Safety
Age Restriction (18+)
HubGaff is strictly for users aged 18 and over. We verify dates of birth during registration to comply with UK Online Safety regulations.
How do I download my data?
Under GDPR, you have the right to your data. Go to Settings > Account and click Request Data to download a ZIP file containing your profile, posts, and messages.
Reporting Content
If you see content that violates our terms (such as explicit imagery), click the ... menu on the post and select Report. Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours.
